Caterina recently showed up in Jakarta, Indonesia to appear at the opening of two Omega watch stores. She looked stunning as always and I'm sure got her pick of free watches! Hey Caterina, my Swatch just broke, care to lend me one of your Omegas? I hear they are nice.
Here are some photos of her at an opening:

Several news sources indicate that supermodel Elle Macpherson has dumped her longtime boyfriend Bryan Adams recently. What does this have to do with our fair Caterina you ask? Elle found out that Bryan had been dating her on the sly. This sounds more like an episode of Degrassi Junior High than the real life story of a group of adults. Say it aint so Caterina!
What's more shocking, is that Caterina Murino dated THIS guy:

This just in: Caterina has finalized a deal to star in a remake of "Le Grand Alibi." The original film was made in 1950 by none other than Alfred Hitchcock. Marlene Dietrich was in it. I always thought Caterina had slight Dietrich-esque qualities. I'm not even sure what that means but hey it never stopped me before. Lambert Wilson, the star of "The Matrix" is set to costar. Oh yeah, I don't mean the actual Matrix films. I'm talking about an online role playing game set in the same universe. Hey now. Lambert gotta eat.
In other news, yes it is true that Orson Welle's final role before his death was "Unicron: the Planet Eater" in the original Transformers movie. Hey now. Orson gotta eat. Actually, Orson gotta eat, a lot. A whole lot. Planets actually.

Caterina's going Bollywood! She just signed on for a lead role in Anubhav Sinha's new film "Chase". Not much is known about the film other than that it will be an action film. I think this may have to be the first Bollywood film I see.
Ok. I lied. I accidentally watched "Dhoom" once thinking it was that the other one. You know the one without an "h". After an hour and still no the Rock, I became suspicious. After I had watched it twice and memorized the song and dance numbers, my suspicions didn't matter anymore.

Hemingway really should have held on another forty-seven years or so because the National Film Society reports today that Caterina has singed on to star in a new film adaptation of his book "The Garden of Eden." She will be joined by the very young and hot Mena Suvari and the very, um, middle aged and British Richard E. Grant. It's being directed by John Irvin. No not Irving the guy who wrote "Cider House Rules", the much more talented Irvin who directed that awesome Schwarzenegger flick "Raw Deal". Ahnold takes no garbage from the Chicago mafia! Here is hoping they take some artistic license with the source material. No offense Ernest.

BMW recently stole a recent Shanghai auto show with this beautiful contraption:

What does this have to do with our fair Caterina you ask? Well the designers of that lovely beast said in an interview it was in part based on Caterina Murino.
“You know the moment when Caterina Murino, the actress in 'Casino Royale' gets into the Aston Martin?” One of the designers told a trade journal. “She does that with such assured fluidity. That is what we were shooting for.”
Now that he mentions it. The curves on that BMW do have a certain, um, fluidity, that reminds me of our fair Caterina. If only they'd put that same care into a, oh I don't know, blow up doll? Tasteless I know!

Caterina needs to follow up Bond in a big big way. So what better than playing a sexy schoolteacher at an all girl's prep school?! Yeah. I know. And her students include Mischa Barton, among other plaid-skirted hotties. Do we even care about the plot? Not really. But just so the Internet Good Taste Commission(IGTC for short) doesn't breathe down my neck, here goes:
It's called "St.Trinian's" and is based off of a series of British films that came out between 1957 and 1980. They are about the misadventures of a group of mischievous schoolgirls. Nuff said. And for you ladies out there(There are some right?), Colin Firth and Rupert Everett star as well. This is due in theatres(British spelling. I'm awesome.) at the end of year. No previews exist yet but here is hoping that it takes the Cinemax on friday nights approach more than the Mary Poppins approach.
No trailers cut yet, instead enjoy a scene from one of the original films:
